Summary

Use this tab page to:

  • Categorise a question that will be used in a recruitment questionnaire in terms of the Business Objectives and Competency Dimensions that the question addresses.
  • Assign a weighting and level of importance to the question.
  • Record the actual question.  

Fields
Competency Dimension:

The sets of behaviours and the standards that you want to measure by asking this question. For example, a question for a Customer Services Officer could relate to the Competency Dimension of 'Develops strategies to respond effectively to client queries'.

Business Objective:

The goals that this question addresses that relate to the business goals of an organisation. For example, a question asked of a Sales Manager could relate to the Business Objective 'Achieve Sales and Profit Budgets'.

Question Level:

The complexity of questions will relate to the Position for which they are targeted. For example, a question suitable for a Customer Services Officer may have a Question Level of '2', and a Sales Manager a level of '4.5'.

Criticality:

Some questions will be more important than others. Assign a value here that describes the importance of this questionnaire in the overall questionnaire.

Question:

The actual question that will be asked in a questionnaire.
