Termination Reasons are reasons why an employee is ending their employment, such as redundancy or resignation.

Using Termination Reasons

You normally add Termination Reasons to employee Termination transactions. However, for Australian ETP terminations you add the reason to the Employee Terminations - Details tab, and it is then copied to the employee's Termination transaction.

Termination Reasons are important in Australian databases because the associated Termination type determines how ETP is taxed.
