ACC Accredited Employers manage their employees' workplace injury claims. These employers replace the role of the ACC to help an employee return to work. If the injury is not work-related, then the employee makes a claim to the ACC — not the employer.
For work related claims, the employer helps with treatment costs and any other compensation that the employee is eligible to receive under ACC legislation.
