Classification of Ethnicity Codes

This code represents the ethnic origins of a person.

Note: These codes are not displayed on the Incident, Injured Person or Claim record. They are used in the employee record: Employee | Details | Personal (ii) tab.

If you want to run the ACCPP Claims data file report, then this entity must contain the ethnicity codes specified by the ACC or your ACCPP file will be rejected.

1. Navigate to Employee Details | Human Resources | Ethnicity.
2. Add a record for each of the following Ethnicity Codes.

   Code	Description
   11	New Zealand European/Pakeha
   12	Other European, such as Australian or Dutch
   21	New Zealand Maori
   31	Samoan
   32	Cook Island Maori
   33	Tongan
   34	Niuean
   35	Tokelauan
   36	Fijian
   37	Other Pacific Islands, such as Hawaiian and Nauru Islander
   41	Southeast Asian
   42	Chinese
   43	Indian
   44	Other Asian, such as Sri Lankan and Pakistani
   50	Other
   99	Not Stated
