These codes represent the medical diagnosis that a primary healthcare provider gives for the employee's injuries. These codes are stored as a free-text value at field level only — there is no PayGlobal data table.
The following types of diagnosis codes are used for ACC reporting:
Diagnosis coding system used by General Practitioners and some other non-hospital primary healthcare providers.
READ codes are owned by ACC.
The International Classification of Diseases, 9th Revision, Clinical Modification" (ICD-9-CM), Sixth Edition, issued for use beginning October 1, 2003 for federal fiscal year 2004 (FY04).
These codes are used by Hospitals only and general for the purposes of diagnosing causes of death.
The International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems, 10th revision, Australian Modification (ICD-10-AM) is used to classify work-related injuries by type of injury, illness or disease, and by bodily location. These codes are used by Hospitals only. A licence is required to obtain access to the coding dictionary.

If you want to validate these codes, then you should store them outside of PayGlobal and use PayGlobal's External Validation command in the Administration folder to reference this data.
