Rate overlaps

This rule checks for overlapping rate information in the PayGlobal database and ensures that there are not multiple rate records active at any one time. This procedure only looks at the following tables no matter which tables you select to run the integrity checker on:

• Employee Rate
• Award Rate
• Award Allowance
• Award Deduction
• Internal Company Allowance
• Internal Company Deduction
• Period Allowance
• Period Deduction

The integrity checker also takes into account age, service and apprentice values that exist under the Advanced tab on these 8 tables.

This rule does not automatically correct errors and we recommend fixing rate overlap issues manually via PayGlobal as these areas now contain data entry validation.
