Introduction

The Integrity Checker validates your PayGlobal database so you can use the .NET-based PayGlobal framework. Use the Integrity Checker application to check your PayGlobal database and then correct any errors that it finds.

The Integrity Checker is similar to the Check Database Integrity function in PayGlobal. The Integrity Checker application does not have the same amount of functionality as the PayGlobal function, but more rules will be added in the future.

The Integrity Checker checks:

• date ranges are consistent
• specific option fields contain the correct values
• specific fields are linked to foreign keys
• key fields do not have leading or trailing spaces
• NLX rules are syntactically valid.
• rate overlaps do not exist

  Important: If you upgrade your live database to PayGlobal 1.95 and your data has integrity errors, then you will not be able to process a pay successfully until these errors are corrected.

Before you can run the Integrity Checker, your database must be using PayGlobal version 1.94 RC17 or later.

Each PayGlobal version uses a specific version of the Integrity Checker.
