A shift requires a Start time and End time which are set on this tab page. A reason for a particular shift is also added here. For example, 'Late Night Shopping'.
When you enter start and end times, you must use the 24-hour clock format.
If there is a reason code for a timeband and the reason code has Include in allocation set to 'Yes', PayGlobal will still allocate employees who have this timeband.
Note: There are no checks to make sure that the full shift is allocated. If the employee has a timeband with this requirement for this date, the assumption is that they are counted as part of the requirement. This allows the greatest level of flexibility and performance, and covers most situations.
