Summary

The Key Performance Indicators entity records the Performance Indicators you have defined as being important for the performance planning of your employees and organisation.

KPIs

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) specify what needs to be measured to determine whether a target Key Result Area is achieved. They provide evidence to support whether a planned effort has achieved the desired result or not.

Example

For example, a Key Result Area (KRA) may be "To increase productivity".

The Key Result Indicators in a Performance Plan that measure this KRA might be:

  • Reduce the absenteeism of factory staff
  • Multi-skill staff to cover for sickness.

The most useful Performance Indicators deal with the results or achievements rather than the means to these results.

Using KPIs

The KPIs that are attached to a Performance Plan are displayed in the Performance Measures tab page.
