Competencies are assessed in a number of ways.  For example:

Assessment Methods describe the way a Competency is assessed. Assessment methods confirm whether an employee has reached Competency in an area after the reinforcement period. You can define the assessment methods that are most suitable for your organisation.

Using Assessment Methods

Assessment Methods are attached to a Competency using the Assessment Methods tab page of the Competency.
