Create Nominations

Summary

Nominations 'hold' employees until a course is available. You can create course nominations from the following PayGlobal entity forms:

Create nominations only after you enter and save all necessary data in the entity record.

You can also create nominations from Self Service.

Creating a Nomination

To create a nomination from a training plan:

  1. Double-click the required Training Plans record to view it.
  2. On the Training Plans | Needs Analysis tab, click Edit.

The Nominated checkbox is not ticked.

  1. Right-click a grey area of the Edit Training Plans form (not the white tab page area) and click Create Nominations.

    An Information message appears telling you that nominations were created successfully.

  2. Click OK.
  3. Click Save.

    The Nominated checkbox is now ticked.

  4. Navigate to Human Resources | Learning & Development | Course Details | Nominations to see the new records.

Course Types and Inductions

Creating nominations from Course Types and Inductions uses a slightly different process:

  • Course Types

    After you click Create Nominations, no message or audit log appears, but PayGlobal does create the Nominations record.

  • Inductions

    After you click Generate Nominations, no message or audit log appears, but PayGlobal does create the Nominations record.

Duplicate Nominations

If you click Create Nominations and a Nominations record already exists with same Employee and Course Type values, then the following occurs:

  • "Nomination created successfully..." message appears, but PayGlobal does not create a new Nominations record.
  • In the existing Nominations record, Status changes to "Not Required".
