What Happens when a Roster Period is Opened?

When a Roster Period is opened it updates Daily View from the following areas:

• Employee Tours.
• Employee Shift Overrides.
• Employee Timeband Overrides.
• Requirement Tours.

After opening the Roster Period, use Daily View to make one-off changes without permanently changing the employee’s Tour or override information. You can also confirm employee rostered shifts and then close the Roster so that it is saved as history.
