Suggested Employees

PayGlobal gets the list of suggested employees for this allocation. Each employee is scored using settings in the Placement Criteria defined for this Allocation.

1. Loads the complete list of employees matching the employee query.
2. Evaluates the qualification score and removes employees outside the cut off ranges.

   For each employee in the list of suggestions, PayGlobal counts the number of qualifications the employee acquired on or before the allocation date that correspond to the qualifications for the Placement Criteria.

   • If the employee has no qualifications, the ScoreQualification = 0.
   • If the Placement Criteria has no qualifications listed, the ScoreQualification = 100.

     Formula - ScoreQualification = EmpQuals / PcQuals * 100.

   • If a cut off range has been specified (by a non-zero upper or lower value), and ScoreQualification is outside this range, the suggestion is removed from the list.

   Formula - ScoreQualification * QualificationWeighting is added to the TotalScore for the suggestion.

3. Evaluate competency score and remove employees outside cut offs.

   For each employee still in the list of suggestions, PayGlobal counts the number of competencies the employee acquired on or before the allocation date that have not expired and that correspond to the qualifications for the Placement Criteria.

   • If employee has no competencies, the ScoreCompetency = 0.
   • If the Placement Criteria has no competencies listed, the ScoreCompetency = 100.

     Formula - ScoreCompetency = EmpQuals / PcQuals * 100.

   • If a cut off range has been specified (by a non-zero upper or lower value) and ScoreCompetency is outside this range, the suggestion is removed from the list.

   Formula - ScoreCompetency * CompetencyWeighting is added to the TotalScore for the suggestion.

4. Evaluate Roster score and remove employees outside cut offs.

   For each employee still in the list of suggestions, PayGlobal completes the following:

   • Loads the timebands for shifts the employee is rostered on that day.
   • Removes timebands with Reason set to Is Available, as these will not affect their Roster availability.
   • Subtracts the employee’s Roster timebands from the Allocation or Requirement timebands. This leaves the required times the employee can work where they are not already rostered to work.
   • If there are no required times left, the ScoreRoster = 0.
   • If there were no timebands in the requirement, the ScoreRoster = 100.

     Formula - ScoreRoster = number of minutes of the requirement the employee is not already rostered somewhere else for (as a percentage of the total minutes for the requirement).

   • If a cut off range has been specified (by a non-zero upper or lower value) and ScoreRoster falls outside this range, the suggestion is removed from the list.

   Formula - ScoreRoster * RosterWeighting is added to the TotalScore for the suggestion.

5. Evaluate availability score and remove employees outside cut offs.

   For each employee still in the list of suggestions, PayGlobal completes the following:

   • Loads the timebands representing when the employee is available for that day.
   • Subtracts the employee’s unavailability from the allocation (or requirement) timebands. This leaves the required times that the employee is available.
   • If there are no required times left, the ScoreAvailability = 0.
   • If there were no timebands in the requirement, the ScoreAvailability = 100.

     Formula - ScoreAvailability = number of minutes in the requirement that the employee is available (as a percentage of the total minutes for the requirement).

   • If a cutoff range has been specified (by a non-zero upper or lower value) and ScoreAvailability falls outside this range, the suggestion is removed from the list.

   Formula - ScoreAvailability * AvailabilityWeighting is added to the TotalScore for this suggestion.

6. Evaluate the award score and remove employees outside cut offs.

   For each employee still in the list of suggestions, PayGlobal completes the following:

   • Evaluates the award rules for this employee/day/requirement to get an Award Score and stores it in the ScoreAward field for the suggestion.
   • If a cut off range has been specified (by a non-zero upper or lower value) and ScoreAward falls outside this range, the suggestion is removed from the list.

   Formula - ScoreAward * AwardWeighting is added to the TotalScore for this suggestion.
