Actuals are used to capture Roster versus Actuals comparisons. Actuals are the information that will be exported to Payroll for payment. It is critical that Actuals are managed on a daily basis.
Daily tasks are:
Checking for Not Rostered, Early Start, Late Start, Early Finish, Late Finish, Absent.
Entering reason codes for absenteeism.
Checking for exceptions. For example, insufficient leave balances, overtime or split shifts.
