Human Resources | Exit Questionnaire Details | Exit Reasons
Summary |
A complete list of reasons why an employee is terminating their employment is essential for a well functioning system. The list should neither be too broad or too concise as you can use this information to gather statistical information as to why employees are terminating employment. You can then put procedures in place to address these reasons, if required. Examples of reasons could be Resigned, Voluntary Redundancy or Dismissal. When the payroll operator enters a termination transaction, they must also enter the reason why the employee is terminating their employment. The reasons that appear in the prompt for the payroll operator come from the Exit Reasons entity. When the termination payment is processed and closed (thus creating a payroll record which can be paid out by the organisation), PayGlobal populates the Dates tab page of the Employee record with the reason specified by the payroll operator. |
