An effective Performance Management system will appraise employees by measuring specific business objectives and competency dimensions.

Using Appraisal Types

PayGlobal uses Appraisal Types to group Business Objectives and Competency Dimensions to form a template.

This template is then used to automatically pull records through to the Employee Appraisals entity. You can then enter the scores that each employee has achieved in each of the categories specified in the Appraisal Type.

You need to create an Appraisal Type for each category of performance appraisal in your organisation. For example, you may need to create separate Appraisal Types for Sales Management, Accounting and Factory staff.
