Details tab

Employee rostering information is stored in the employee table. Navigate to each employee's T&A/Rostering | Rostering | Details tab to add or edit rostering information.

Field

Description

Roster Period

Used to assign an employee to a Roster cycle. For example, Weekly or Monthly. It is usually, but does not need to be, the same as the employee's payroll period. This field is left blank if no set Roster period is used.

Shift

Defines the default shift that will be used when inserting a shift or timeband into the employee's Roster. If an employee does not have a Roster and you insert a shift timeband in Daily View, then this will be the default shift for that employee.

Break

This refers to the unpaid break time that an employee is rostered for when inserting a shift or timeband into an employee's Roster. If an employee does not have a Roster, this will be the default break for that employee. PayGlobal will use this default when you insert a shift timeband in Daily View.

Job Code

If required, associate a job code with the shift.
