The Availability tab allows you to assign an Availability Group or an Availability Override to an employee.
For example, Availability Groups are a way of distinguishing which groups of employees are able to work early or late shifts or which groups prefer to work weekends.

Availability Groups
Availability Groups are a recurring pattern of available times/days for an employee or group of employees.
Overrides
The Overrides section displays the times that an employee is available if these times are outside the Availability Group that is specified.
Example
In the above screenshot this employee is available for shifts on Saturdays from 8.00am to 5.00pm.
