An Allocation is an instance of a Requirement — an Allocation record always has a Requirement code and a date. You can edit Allocations in the Allocation View area of Daily View.
PayGlobal generates allocations in two ways:
Allocations combine Requirements with the Roster so you can determine gaps in the Roster. For example Requirement = 5, Allocated = 3.
The link between the Roster and Requirements is a combination of:
Allocations are not defined for any one Roster period or pay sequence. An Allocation is defined for a day and you must ensure that all Allocations exist for the period of time the pay sequence covers before you open it.
Before you can use Allocation View, you must set up Requirements.
