Reset Roster

The Reset Roster command:

• Reverses the opening of a Roster pay

  -or-

• Clears it of all transactions.

Resetting a Roster

1. Navigate to Rostering | Reset Roster in the PayGlobal Tree.
2. Double-click the Reset Roster run command to view the Select an open pay Sequence to reset window.
3. Select the Roster period to reset. Click OK to display the following warning:

   

   At the prompt select:

   Yes
   Resets or reverses the Roster pay sequence. The Roster pay will be completely reversed so it can be reopened at a later date. For example, if the Roster has been opened in error.

   No
   Clears timebands and transactions from the Roster pay sequence. The Roster will remain open, but all data will be cleared.

   For example, if your company closes over Christmas and there will be no employees paid in this period you should open the Roster, clear it, process it, and then close the Roster to update it in the period calendar.

   You can also use this feature if your system is set up to automatically import non-clock data when opening an Actual pay.

4. View the audit log to confirm the Reset Roster was successful.
