Course types are the templates on which the actual courses are based. Course Types records contain generic course values that you can use when you create a Courses record. For example, all First Aid courses would be based on one First Aid Course Types record. |

Information that you set up in a Course Types record can be copied to courses that are based on that record, and subsequently to employees who successfully complete those courses. The following diagram shows the Course Types default values that are used in Courses and Employees records:
