Summary

You can use training plans to define development actions for individual employees. From the training plan, you can create nominations for individuals to attend learning events. When an employee completes their training plan, they are provisionally credited with the qualifications and competencies associated with the plan.

Training Plan Structure

The following diagram shows the entities and makeup records that are used in Training Plans. Training Modules records contain Assessment Factors so when you add a training module to a training plan you can copy across default assessment factors. You can associate Training Plan Course Types and Training Plan Competencies with Courses, and you can associate Training Plan Qualifications with Institutions.
